Say we are given the acceleration of an object and the time interval. We can plug in the numbers and then solve for 'v' using

Or we can make it easier on ourselves by manipulating the formula so it solves for 'v' (final velocity) like this:
If we multiply both sides by t, we end up with:
t*a=vu
We can add the value u to both sides:
u+t*a=v
Therefore
v = u + at
We can also solve for u(final velocity) with the following:
